Hi everyone

I watched a tutorial on Youtube the other day by Little Web Hut on how to change a picture in Inkscape. Well, I've given it a try & I'm really pleased with the outcome. Can't cut it out but, hey ho, not to worry. It's so amazing what you can do with this software and I know I haven't even scratched the surface yet!!

Anyway, hope you like the end product. By the way, it's a photo I took a couple of years back when I was staying in Salisbury, UK for a weekend.... it's a lovely place to go!

Debbie :)

Wow, looks great. Did you use a mask?
Little Web Hut have some great tutorials and I have learnt a lot from them since you mentioned the site.

Thanks, Carolyn. No, I didn't use a mask but the clip/set. Basically you take your main photo, duplicate it, change it in the effects, I used the pencil. Then you draw a circle/oval/square etc over the part you want to be in colour and use the clip. It's a little bit more involved than this but, at least you get the idea.

I think it looks great although, to be honest, I wish the pencil background was a little darker. I might have to have a play with that and see if I can anything about it!
