I found some old files on my computer that may be useful for creating tangle type designs. I used Pattern Along Path to create the following patterns. Attachment: chain link.JPG The original design before changing the colour to black and adding filters. Attachment: pp2.JPG Result after using a different shape Attachment: pp3.JPG Here are a few examples showing how the letter H can be used for a ladder or train track style design. Attachment: pp.JPG Attachment: pp1.JPG Here is a file with the shapes and the path used for the first two examples. If you try the letter H, experiment with different fonts. Attachment: links.svg

Carolyn, you know I try everything you do. I'm working on the chain. Had to go find the tut on knots, but I don't think you used knot feature. I'll get back to you all IF I can ever recreate it. Still playing with the settings for the different filters. Thank, as always, for the inspiration.

Hi Susan, I did not use the knot feature. I only used Pattern Along Path. Did you grab the SVG file I attached? It includes the path and link shape I used for two of the designs.
