I love these suprises. I was playing with Carolyn's tutorial on twisted designs, and some of Angela's designs and then this happened. I've tried to recreate what I did but can't get it just right. But anywhooo I got this great abstract image that would show up on a hotel room wall or in a gallery for a gazillion dollars to the right collector I just made it a birthday card to print, tho it might get printed really big and hung somewhere on my wall. Yes I see I don't have a capital H on happy...I'll fix that. Attachment: HBps.png Attachment: take1ps.png Here's where I started, ( a few rectangles of different pastel colors, you might have seen this on the original post of the twist tut. I changed the twist settings for that one and got this. Somewhere along the line I was able to get the color chaged a bit but cannot replicate but you get the idea of some of where you can go with the really neat feature of Inkscape with Carolyn's and Angela's curiosity and help. See the tutorial and some wonderful examples here viewtopic.php?f=8&t=922I posted the svg and a hi-res jpg on my Blog if you are interested in printing or playing! http://creationsbypapasue.blogspot.com/ ... scape.html

Looking good. Great ideas and I love the different colours.
I may have misread but if you want to change the colour of any completed twist change the stroke colour. The width can be changed too for a different look.

Yes PapaSue I did do your version with some different Step Ratio settings but I didn't use a rectangle shape, and of course ended up with the Eggbot Twist. I think I have to admit it will be a while before I move away from this twist......

Angela, are you trying to hypnotise us? Some of those designs remind me of wallpaper when I was a child.
