In this pictorial I will show how easy it is to use designs you already own and add them to a card front to create unique shaped card.
My example used a paper pieced file but you don't have too and any outline style design such as a dingbat would work the same.

How did you get the outline for the rose rose font. I have tried everything and I still can't figure it out. Please help

Hi, If my memory serves me correctly, I selected the rose I wished to change.
I then increased the width of the stroke to suit the project.
I then applied Path>Stroke to Path.

Applying Stroke to Path is the step that ensure the design cuts as it appears on your computer screen.
